Visual Identity

As a fan of craft beers and their labels I got an inspiration to design my own beer label concept.

I wanted to design a set of medieval illustrations for various kind of beer. Since there are lot of different kind of beers I started to think what kind of characters they could be if they would be medieval persons.

The name for this beer label came from a combination of the words medieval and ale. I wanted

to design a simple logo that would work with the illustrations smoothly. The logo is made in

Adobe Illustrator, using the same kind of soft and simplified approach than in the illustrations.

The illustrations are made by using simple box-grid with minimalistic line work and colors.

The illustration process started out as a sketches on sketchbook and followed with the actual illustration process in Adobe illustrator.
